I really liked Revelations. After a string of more action packed RE games (4, 5, & 6), Revelations was a return to the series' survival horror roots.

I only watched walkthroughs of the RE games so I didn't play Revelations myself (hearing it's so hard has to be a pain) but I liked it too, especially when Jill is the main character. Jill is my favorite RE character. Even saying that, I think I like Revelations 2 a little more too, and it's great they brought Barry back. I just wish they had Jill and Claire meet. There are so many characters that need to meet each other that have yet too, which annoys me. Like Leon and Jill too. Anyway, I did like the twist in 2 that Claire and Moira were on the island six months prior to Barry showing up. Also, what happened to that little girl, they showed she was still possessed by what's her name (don't remember lol) and she is living with Barry? Ahhh!
