Welcome to the thread everyone!:wave: Which are all your favorite Resident Evil games? I haven't played all of em, but my faves right now are Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil: Revelations. There are actually more games in this franchise than I thought. I've yet to play the Veronica & Outbreak games. Whenever I can I'll get to it. 1 of you mentioned you've completed R.E. Revelations which I haven't. I hope to do that soon, because I :love: the survival-horror genre, but have yet to beat a Resident Evil game.

Thanks for this one. I had the most fun with RE 4 and the original from back in the day!

My fave is RE4 in Wii!!!!!

RE4 was so good, I've bought it on so many different platforms :lol:

I watched a gameplay of RE4 a while ago and I liked it a lot. I started playing it on ps3. I need to get back to it. :)

It's a classic, no doubt about it :nod: probably the only reason I still own a Wii. :lol:

RE 4 is a good game but I find it overrated. I think the second game is the best IMO.

you may prefer 2, but there's no denying the quality of 4. It's universally recognised as one of the best games ever made. :nod: a game that can be reviewed 82 times and average 96/100 is just plain amazing. :lol: it made so many innovations that paid off, they haven't even come close to it since.

I suck at the old games these days though :lol: I played the remaster of the first game though and enjoyed it. :)

Usually when things are overrated, that means they're rated greatly and loved so much and some people are just jealous of it. Though, the first 2 Resident Evil games were awesome. 4 fixed a lot of the playing errors that came along with earlier ones and was more user friendly to newer people of the series. Story wise, nothing beats 1.

Resident Evil 2 is really good, and I think Resident Evil 3 is really underrated. I actually think I really liked almost all the Resident Evil games that came out until I played through Resident Evil 5.

Resident Evil 5 was a fun game, but it justwasn't that scary. I dug the Africa setting, though. That really worked well and I'd like for them to do a movie based on that game.

I didn't play these games myself (watched walkthroughs of all of them on YT like a year ago) but I liked RE 3 too. I'm someone that saw the RE films before seeing the games and after watching them after seeing the games again I don't like them as much as I used to. I don't get why the Nemesis they had in the second movie was all slow. I was suprised in RE 3 how FAST he was, if I played that game I would of had a panic attack anytime Nemesis came after me. The way he was always on Jill's ass and basically running track seemed nervewrecking but yeah, I think RE 2 is the best game.

yeah, the movies suck compared to the games.
