How about a news thread? There's always new games coming out that we can talk about, regardless of whether we're gonna end up trying them out or not. Or was there a thread like that before? I dunno....we should at least try boosting up the post count one thread at a time.....

How about a thread dedicated to "game shows on tech tv?" I wonder if anyone else here watch them besides me? If we do have more people that are interested in that I'd like to start a thread about that.

the only one I've watched is the Final fantasy one, so I don't know if I'd be much help, onion might watch more tech tv then me, I know she used to but that was awhile ago..

If you want start the thread, you don't need to ask, post as many as you want, well as many as you want about games..:-D

I still watch TechTV, though not as much. I saw several shows on FF which is the reason why I restarted FFX. LOL The icons episode about the composer for FF was really good, probably because each song brought me back to the game. I also saw an FF episode of Cheats and an FF episode of Cinematech.

I would like to start a thread on the Gaming Industry as a whole...

But I am afraid that it won't be that interesting in the long run because most of the gamers here are console gamers and the issues I want to address and discuss really doesn't affect this segment of the gaming market compared to the PC gamers like Onionroach, myself and a few others here.

What I want to talk about is how PC games are being shipped out in unfinished states by greedy publishers like EA Games, Lucas Arts Entertainment and UBISoft and how it is only going to get worse as big publishers keep buying out smaller development houses in an effort to monopolize and increase their market shares...

But again, I feel this probably will be of no real interest due to not just the demographics of who posts on this board, but also because the effects are not seen or felt as much for console players as they are for PC players.

In fact, I did try and start a thread like this about a year ago... And I all got was a "Nope. Don't see any problems with the games I play. What are you talking about?" and it was presumably from a console player.

Unsilent Majority, I love those kind of threads, but they don't seem to last around here. I don't think people are that informed of what is happening in the gaming world to have a discussion about it. You should start one anyway.

I'm not a gamer. But my heart goes out to the struggling boards. I've got two of my own.

I hate to say it, but maybe more "game" type threads will help boost the post count. A 300 word game story?

Or maybe have a thread where people describe or "create" their dream games?

Sorry I can't come up with anything better.
