I found a Dove chick in my backyard after I got home from working all day. It fell from the very-tall palm tree I have in my backyard which is about 4 storeys tall! Its parents did not return for it so I am trying to look after it. Doubt it will survive long as it is a wild bird, but, it is a fledgeling so within a week or so might be able to fly away! I did this once when I was a little kid and the bird flew away just fine.  __________________

Nothing for birds, no...
It seems much weaker when I got home today probably due to not eating the amount they need at this stage to grow. I decided to put it in a makeshift nest (tee shirt shaped into a birds nest shape) and placed that above my aviary to try and lure/hope that the doves that have a nest in the tree directly above the aviary in my backyard will adopt it or at least try and feed it. __________________

It did not help, if died this morning.
Damned if I did or damned if I didn't help the thing I think. If I left it the ants, sun (very non-shady backyard) local feral cats would have killed it days ago.
