I noticed that Nintendo is trying to make some of their 3DS games be more like tablet apps and I would like to know if this is a new thing that Nintendo is trying to do to make more people buy more Nintendo 3DS games? Because I just bought the Nintendo 3DS game Ultimate NES Remix and when I played the game I kept getting a message that said I needed to connect with friends on the Internet to unlock more of the game and I never knew that Nintendo is now making games for the 3DS that allow this like most tablet apps do nowadays. When I got the message I am thinking of exchanging it for a different Nintendo 3DS game but I am not sure what to do because I do know with Nintendo focusing on the Nintendo Switch some of the Nintendo 3DS games are now hard to find
Should I keep the game or exchange it for a different Nintendo 3DS game?

it's not a bad idea on Nintendo's part. the mobile app world is on fire right now and so much money to be made. Plus they just launched their online for the Switch so they're about to see a whole new world of profit.

I had NES Remix and it was crap. It wasn't the games like I thought it would be. It's side missions based on those games. I suggest finding something else. It's unfortunate because they had an opportunity there to make a great game in giving us the classics.
