if they did a James Bond game to the style of like an Assassin's Creed...that would be the most amazing thing.

I'm not sure if that would work for Bond.

Maybe tweak it a bit. If the map was split into "zones", with seamless travel between them. One zone could be a snowy mountain range, allowing for ski chases or any snow based action sequence. The main "zone", would be the MI6 building where you would have to go to receive new missions (from M), gadget/gadget upgrades/vehicles/vehicle upgrades (from Q Branch) or just have a flirt with Moneypenny. I imagine this to be a 3rd person perspective, with gamplay that allows for stealth, action and a mixture of both.

To build on my last post, another idea is to have different zones in different countries. To completely unlock each zone, you have to first visit the station head, who will provide local intel (side quests). Each time the player travels to a different county, a cut scene will play, showing Bonds plane landing at an airport, complete with Bond theme that is mixed with the flavour of whatever country Bond has just arrived in. It would be more like Alpha Protocol with the zone, or hub, ares, but bigger allowing for action sequences. The game would be littered with references to the films (and the books as well).

Damn, if I had the money, i'd make this myself.

right, we should tweet this out to some game developers. I have no doubts that we're not the only ones who are thirsting for a badass and new Bond game. Especially now with a new movie on the horizon.

The only James Bond video game I have is Quantum Of Solace for the Nintendo DS and I had gotten it for my birthday years ago from Best Buy and I could and still can't get through the beginning level and the fighting controls are confusing to me but I tried to get to the second level and James Bond always loses and I have to start over again each time I play

Sounds frustrating. I never knew they did a DS Bond game. Might be worth checking out. Bond on the go!

I can't speak for the DS, but of the other two ports, PS3/360 and PS2, I thought the PS2 was better. The Sienna chase was a chase, compared to the shooting gallery it was on the PS2.

LaAmapola, if you can get hold of a PS2, I highly recommend the games of that era, especially Agent Under Fire, Nightfire*, and Everything Or Nothing**. From Russia With Love was ok, but there is too much action in it, considering the was a spy thriller.

*My favourite
** This one blurred the lines between Bond games and films. Has it's own title track and a cast worthy of the films.

Sorry, meant to say it was a shooting gallery on the PS3. The PS2 port, while having fewer missions, plays better.

ahh gotcha. usually it's the other way around, 3 would have been better than 2. nice to see that's not always the case.

The PS3/360 version wins on graphics and number of missions. But the PS2 version wins on gameplay. While the PS2 version has fewer missions, I preferred most, if not all of them to their PS3/360 counterparts. Off the top of my head, the Sienna Rooftop chase was better on PS2, as was the Casino. I also liked the Docks mission, which wasn't even in the PS3/360 version. The PS2 version also changed the perspective to 3rd person.
