Both franchises suck.

Halo isnt bad, the lore is pretty good, but honestly the gameplay hasn't aged well (In Halo 1 at least) and I think the franchise should have stopped at 3.
But it has it's place in the history of gaming. __________________

well the last two major entries in the series, 4 and 5, people said were too much like halo because of the executions and what not....I like it. Gears of War is awesome, though and will remain like the coolest! I can't wait for 4!

This is really interesting, it shows exactly HOW a shooting FPS style game works out how a bullet acts like a bullet in games! It is much more difficult than you think...

I really like that. The physics engines games use has always been a sorta mystery to me.

It showed that older games such as GoldenEye 007 and Halflife had completely different mathematical ways of making bullets move with trajectories and such. They were more complex in some ways yet other ways simpler. As in there was no such thing as wind shear and distance making the bullet drop down/slow down as modern games have for realism.
