Video Games - E3 2018 Discussion: New & Rumors

As promised, when promoted to moderator here at Video Games, I told you I have a few cool projects in mind. The first, and most timely, is a thread for E3 discussions. It's starting now even though the event doesn't start until June 12th. Treat this thread like a Twitter feed. Post news here, post videos, post anything cool about the event. I will do my best to keep it updated with the big reveals. I know we have threads for those like Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, etc... but this is about the event and overall reactions. I work 6 days a week so won't be home for most of e3 but some of them, like the ones that take place in the afternoon in EST USA, so anyone home when it's airing live, please post! Thanks! Let's make this fun because this is the most exciting time of year for gamers!

Oh my goodness, same! I'd especially like a release date for The Last of Us. I'm personally hoping for a new Halo or Gears of War to be announced and hopefully ready for this year.

It's so awesome that we're finally a week away from E3!!!! I've even heard rumors of PS5...which I feel it's too soon.

well someone from Sony said that PS4 is in its final life cycle. It's what...4 or 5 years old? that's not long.

We'll see, but the PS4 was announced over 6 years after the release of the PS3.

Thanks for digging that up for me. I saw it on Twitter the other day and, well, i'm just confused because Sony lost a huge opportunity to make the PS4 Pro a 4K UHD blu ray player. What helps the Xbox One sell is that it's an all in one entertainment center. I have mine connected to my 4K tv...but i'd love to play my ps4 on that tv. Some MLB The Show on my 55 inch 4K tv would be amazing! (I have ps4 in my bedroom so i have blu ray every room i'm in). Sony needs to go out of this generation swinging. I'd like to see a RED PS4 Pro with 4K UHD blu ray playback.

Not necessarily, I think they would have just said so.

but that’s from December, so I think we’ll see it again.
