Since Borderlands 1 GOTY just dropped, and the handsome collection got a new 4k update, as well as Borderlands 3 being announced figured it'd be the perfect time to make a thread about Borderlands! Feel free to chat, swap gamer names, etc.

I just wanted a borderlands thread.

I don’t know much about this series. I only have 2000 hours in Handsome Collection and at least 500 in the first game. :P

They’ve done a good job with the remaster. Old consoles were struggling with some of the parts of the original. Zombie dlc had like 2 frames per second on ps3. :goof:

The new textures for borderlands 2 look really nice too

I own the Handsome Collection on my xbox but i dont think on my playstation. i'll have to check because i swore i owned the handsome collection.

Borderlands 1 is a pretty easy plat, so that's my next project

It is. For some reason the mini bosses trophies still won't trigger for me. Maybe it's because I'm playing co-op. Weird, because I didn't have that problem in the original.

Try it solo, I haven't had any trophy issues

I'm free both of those days! we can play both. i'd also like to go through like every game we can. friday, DBD, etc... i'll play it all. this is my catch up time on video games until i get another job. Also need to dip into new AC, TR and RDR.

Does anyone else feel like borderlands 1 side quests are more...boring? They just seem unimportant to the story and rather bland, where as Borderlands 2 sidequests were fun and engaging.

I agree with that. I think part of it it’s because in the second everyhing is voiced and i in the first it’s just a note you read.

I managed to get a platinum btw. I went back to the bosses after finishing the story since they respawn and the trophies popped up. :yay:

Borderlands 2 was an amazing sequel. Handsome Jack made the game everything!

I've played enough of this game to reach max level quite fast. It only took me around 30 hours to get platinum. :nod:
