Oooh, I do like Taboo. I always end up saying something I'm not suppose to say.

I love gaming nights the only down side is that you really do need a group of people to play.

angel boogiepop, I hope you find more people.

onion, tis is true. You need more than just two people to have a game night.

Whatever happened to playing checkers/chess by mail?

There was a point when I was so desperate to play spades and euchre that I played online. It's sad that I just don't know that many people near me that play games.

It's true. It's almost like board games are a thing of the past although I hear the new Monopoly: Here & Now board game is supposed to be one of this year's popular holiday gifts.

I hope that's not true. I love getting together with a group of people and playing Cranium or Shadows Over Camelot or even Monopoly. It's always so much more fun.

I love the arguing and table talk or the trying-not-to-be-obvious table talk that's always involved in card games.

I got to play some Apples to Apples this past weekend. I do love that game.

Does anyone have a favorite board game?

Every time my brother comes down from FL, we all play Risk and Monopoly... pretty fun!

My girlfriend's sister was in town over the weekend and we played Monopoly and Payday. We also play a lot of games when we go to visit her mom back in her hometown. Recently, we've been playing the Logo game (which is a game about brand names and logos and is actually really fun) and a game called Quelf where you have to do all kinds of crazy things depending on what the cards say, like there was one part where no one could talk, and another when one of the players had to say "word" or "bogus" when he was agreeing or disagreeing with anyone and if he forgot to say that he had to go back a certain number of spaces.

You should try it. That's what the box looks like and it's a blast. One of the most fun games I've played in a long time.
