I can’t believe we don’t have a Final Fantasy thread on here. (If there is one, i couldn’t find it in the board guide or after a few pages). Talk to me about the remake of 7, guys. I saw a Eurogamer video and it looks bloody amazing. I’ve never really sinked into any FF game except for the one on SNES.

That's the walkthrough of the FF7 Remake I'm watching right now. There are many walkthroughs on YT obviously but I'm glad with this one there aren't a million ads in it and their playing well. I'm surprised there was no Final Fantasy thread either, long overdue. So far I'm loving the remake. I'm still iffy about it only being in Midgar but so far it's great to me. I always loved Barret but he is so damn funny and off the hook in this, they kept his character in tact (his banter with Cloud is hilarious as well) I also love that they are giving you more of Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge in the remake as well. I also love the updated soundtrack too (and I love me some FF music) I just wonder how them releasing it in parts will work out cause I've heard mixed things about the first ending. Loving it so far, and it makes me want a FF8 and 9 remake too lol.

What is everyone's favorite Final Fantasy? Mine is Final Fantasy 10, and I can't believe next year it will be 20 years old.

I'm glad I'm not alone in FFX being their fave lol. It was my first one and the game that got me into Final Fantasy. Will always have a soft spot for it.

I'm watching others play the remake on Twitch. I don't have Playstation yet, but PS5 looks enticing. Might get that one when it's out.

I’ve heard such great things about 10. I forgot I did play the Online game when it launched, as a demo... I forget what it was but the cover was blueish and pinkish and I played with some friends. It was a hella good time.

FF8 being a lot of people's first is great as well. I think 8 is okay, but there are others that are better than it IMO. I do love Squall and Rinoa together lol. I really love FF9, I wish they would make more FF games like that one.

you can get X for PS4, with the sequel.

I just couldn't get into XV though.

I think FF15 is the worst one. I keep forgetting what the story was even about and it was just a boring game. The main characters are forgettable too (You also need female party members obviously, so that experiment failed) It took them forever to finish the game but they released a halfassed, unfinished game and are still making DLC's for it. A lot of people say the last good FF game was X which I can understand. I do like FF13 though (It gets too much hate IMO) but the two sequels after it were pointless and I didn't like them at all.
