i feel like it should be easy enough to turn it on and do some chores for not long but then i just cant be bothered anymore. i think the motivation has gone away because alot of other people in my friends list have stopped too so theres not much new happening.

had never played this series until i picked up ACNL the other month thinking it would get returned after a day or two....somehow it has turned into one of my most played games lol i've wasted so much time with this game, never thought it would be so addicting.

Five months later and I'm still playing it daily not as much as in the beginning, but I feel weird if I don't at least check my town every day!

lol always good to hear i'm not the only one that does that i always have to check to see if there's something in the shops i want or what the turnips are selling for and what mischief my villagers are causing.

Yeah exactly! And it happened to me once that a villager was in boxes after I hadn't been able to play for three days because I left my 3DS at a friend's house - it luckily wasn't one of my favourite villagers but it did make me paranoid, I have a few animals that I really don't want to lose so I make an effort to at least talk to them for a little bit every day

ohh that's the worse when a villager just packs up and leaves it's happened to me too, very sad. the ones i ignore because i don't want them there are the ones who hang around and never want to leave, grrrr.

ahahah awesome!! did you have fun whacking them with the shovel too? lol i like to get them really mad by pushing them around then dig holes around them so they get stuck

yeah I've definitely done that before too! The trouble is, that when you push them around, they'll eventually talk to you, so if you're trying the ignore tactic, it doesn't really work.

That villager that I was trying to get rid of for so long now shows up on my main street a lot.. I wish there was a way to just send them away once and for all!

haha farmville...ugh. i've never played it, but harvest moon is kind of cross between animal crossing and farmville yeah?

as for ACNL, i've given up trying to earn money on turnips, i've filled up my town with perfect fruit trees! SHOW ME THE BELLS, OHHH YEAH!
