Yes here is my review from the pilot

I agree seeing Oliver on the island in the first scene was a great opener to the series. Seeing him like that was a shock again as I haven't seen the first series in a long time. I am so used to Oliver now, so going back to the beginning and being reminded of everything he went through is heartbreaking

Like he said those 5 years he had to be less party boy and more a warrior to survive! The running and making a flaming arrow on the rock then blowing up the fire to get noticed was visually stunning

When they are back and Oliver is at the hospital hearing the Doctor tell Moira all those injuries, scars, burns across his body and fractures that haven't healed properly was horrible I just kept thinking poor bb

Moira didn't care if he wasn't the same Oliver she lost she just cared that she had her beautiful boy back

I agree she had her faults but she loved her children completely

The Queen mansion! I forgot how lavish it was

He was so happy to see the maid and his reunion with Thea was wonderful the delight on her face to have her brother back

I agree Thea looks so young!

Laurel, the first time we see her she is a badass attorney and she does look beautiful

I agree that turning the TV off was understandable

Seeing Oliver in that towel in front of the mirror just makes me swoon

Tommy I am with you Sarah I love Tommy and miss him!

He was so funny giving Oliver the updates!

Oliver calling Walter out was funny at the table

Heidi you are right the Sara in the pilot is not the Sara we know now

This is the end of the parts I have just watched I will watch the rest when I get back from town and carry on my review

It is all so fast their boat going down!

When he wakes up from his nightmare and attacks his Mom then when he realises what he has done he gets back and says sorry I love that Moira said its all ok that he is home

Laurel and Oliver's first meeting back from the island was fraught and tense as it should have been.

Tommy and Oliver getting attacked! that was surprising I had forgotten about that!

Oliver just got back from the island then he gets tortured all over again

That was amazing hat he got out of that zip wire! and we got to see him in action for the first time!

It had been so long since I have seen these episodes so things still came as a surprise which is great

I love Oliver and Diggles first meeting

It was all so formal and then Oliver gave him the slip

It is so strange hearing him call Oliver Sir!

Oliver is definitely on a mission becoming the Arrow

It is so basic in the pilot before Felicity gets in there and makes it all high tech!

I will never get tired of seeing Oliver work out

I forgot how brutal the hood was in series 1 killing people rather than just capturing!

He was quite brutal the whole season

season one - before what happened to Tommy made him change his ways in the second season

1x02 Honor Thy Father

1x02 Honor Thy Father

Spoiler:

- So much darkness in the beginning of the series for Oliver but it does lend into some epic fights and action scenes

- "I've been catching up"

- Tommy coming in with funny lines talking about all his times being in jail

- Poor Oli reliving the moments of the boat going down seems it really eats him up at the beginning

- "Heyyyy" comment to seeing Laurel then learning about Laurel's case while getting shunned by Laurel Oliver taking off with the car

- Laurel being a lawyer

- Hmm Oliver working out is always the best thing ever - time for Oliver to go after this weeks person to have failed the city, the one that Laurel has gone after

- Aww Moira getting so upset over Oliver leaving Dig and being so afraid of losing him again. Thea laying it down hard to Oliver

- Quentin love Quentin laying it down to Martin related to proving the arrow and that he had truly been attacked

- Oh time to visit the office then Oliver getting emotional being at the office . I do feel so for Oliver, truly do cause its only been what a week and a lot of things are being pushed on him. Only the second episode and wanting to give him a leadership role, so I do get where Oliver was coming from. Even if he didn't have the "Hood" or anything and wasn't doing his own thing, its still a lot

- Diggle right from the start is just perfection and Oliver picking him as his co partner in crime was the perfect choice

- Oh the flashback to his father being dead and trying to get the birds away from him then burying his father. Diggle is wrong - he went though so much and just learnt to bury being messed up in the head

- Lance vs Lance do love this scene, can totally see where Laurel gets her argumentative ability from. how much she is like her father

- China White love the actress, she was fantastic on The Vampire Diaries

- Thea bringing Oliver to his grave and telling him what happened over the 5 years Thea talking to his grave . Thea telling him to let somebody in, which gets him to go to Laurel which I do love their scene at the apartment then Diggle saving them

- Laurel telling him he's an adult and that he can say NO which lends to what Ollie does at the end of the episode

- LOVE Dig's fight against China White - Going though and really thinking about the episodes, its starting to not quite bug me but Diggle being surprised about the knife or anything about Oliver's ability to fight in the early episodes. Is it just me or can it actually be reasonable that people should actually NOT be surprised, come on - 5 years on an island, he would have had to have came up with survival skills. So hunting and fighting and so on, so being able to throw a knife like he did shouldn't be a surprise OR I'm just wrong

- YAY Oliver's fight against China White, I miss her

- Oliver as The Hood coming up against Quentin for the first time where Oliver gave him the evidence that was needed to take Martin down

- Ugh this breaks my heart what Oliver does here at the ground breaking - showing everybody that he's back to the playboy and taunting everything because he needed too in order to be the Hood

- Finding out that Moira was involved in the boat

- His speech at the ground breaking was rough but think this last scene breaks my heart even more tearing up the grave at the mansion and everything plus his speech to the grave of his father about honoring his father he needs to dishonor him as well - burying his father on the island, and getting shot with an arrow

1x03 "Lone Gunman"

Spoiler:

- The Hood after his next target, but boom somebody kills the dude instead - not giving Oliver the chance to allow the dude to make right

- Oh noes time for Oliver to be poisoned considering that the bullets are always laced with something - thankfully Oliver has medicine that helps him against poison

- Oh time to meet Shado's dad for the first time

- Moira being too easy on Thea Oliver being hard on Moira but he's completely right

- Quentin being smart and realizing that it wasn't The Hood that did this killing

- Deadshot was such an interesting villain - always loved when we saw him

- Oliver bringing Tommy to the old Warehouse to put his idea for the nightclub

- Laurel so stunning as always

- Joanne missed her and she's such a great friend, love her taking Laurel out for a night out which ends up being when Laurel kicks some total butt related to those frat boys

- Poor Moira trying to ground Thea but gets no where

- Hmm hello Oliver coming that building is a hot thing to watch that's for sure

- Quentin always following the ways of Justice and not believing that it was The Hood

- Oh yes, time for Russian mob and finding out that Oliver is in with them, that he can count them friends at this time

- "Andrew Diggle", still can't wait to relive what Deadshot has to do with Andy

- Thea oh right telling Oliver about Tommy/Laurel

- everything about the scenes with Max Fuller, Tommy stepping in and the two boys fighting together THEN most epic is Laurel coming in to beat Max up

- Tommy looking out for his best friend and saying that it was all kinds of wrongs of hooking up with Laurel, tries to say sorry and be the best friend forever. Oliver saying that it was alright

- The Hood vs Deadshot

- Meeting Felicity for the first time "It was Red" - love his attempts at bad lies

- Conversation between Moira/Thea

- Oliver going to Quentin for help

- Tommy catching Laurel at the courthouse, Laurel realizing that Oliver knew. Tommy/Laurel

- Deadshot's in the house and about to make his move then Quentin saves Walter Diggle follows Oliver. Oh poor Diggle having been shot

- Oliver taking Diggle to his lair and saves his life, then boom time for Dig to turn the truth
