I LOVE that

Is that fanart, a petition of some sort? I hope they receive some nominations.

Finally got around to zooming through Outlander. Ugh, now I'm kind of wishing I had put it off longer so I wouldn't have to wait in agony with everyone else for April.

I enjoy this show so much. I do find it to be very graphic(both sex and violence-wise at times...ugh, sawing off that limb!) but at least the sex scenes don't come across as raunchy the way they often do on other shows. For the most part they seem tender and realistic. And the violence is few and far between.

I love so many of the characters - Claire, Jamie and Dougal being my favorites, but many others are wonderful supporting characters. I just want somebody to kill Black Jack Randall already!

I'm pretty uncertain about how this show is apparently supposed to be kind of multi-generational. I tend to not like stuff like that. But hopefully I'll continue to love it.

Welcome! Glad you have enjoyed it so far! It's a premium channel so there is graphic sex and violence but I think Outlander has done it so well thus far. I can't wait to see the second half!

RedDragon - glad you found the show and the hiatus is a long one, but it should be amazing when it does return.

Even the secondary characters are rich and exciting in their own way and as the story unfolds we'll hopefully learn more.

Well at least hoping the show will receive some nod and Tobias's performance is just stunning. Hoping for the best for the show.

Honestly, I adore the whole show but Tobias in The Garrison Commander - best performance by far to me. It's hard to get a supporting actor nomination, though since at the Golden Globes the supporting category is combined for all shows.

That was a great performance! I don't even think "hate" is the right word for what I felt when he was describing everything. "Loathe" and "sickened" are probably better. He was so chilling.

Chilling perfectly describes the performance. Hope he gets at least a nod in a nomination.

Agree! What I love best about his performance was that so many villains are over the top but I actually believed him (even having read the books) that he felt remorse and I'm pretty sure I gasped when he punched Claire. I was so entranced by what he did in that scene that even knowing what was coming I believed him!
