I get where you're coming from, but I don't really think like that. If he raised the child then it's his child. I don't like it when people don't put adopted children on the same level as biological.

(I'm not unbiased though since my dad adopted me after he married my mom. )

I started pondering the other day why Frank looks exactly like Jack Randall when technically that'd be his many-times-great-uncle. But then I went "it's fiction...don't ruin it with logic."

It does happen that distant relatives look very alike, I've seen it, but THAT distant, it's a bit of an overshoot.

That and it's genetics. Granted this is great great great something but I've seen where someone looks more like their aunt or uncle than their own parents and stuff like that.

I was looking at a picture of one of my younger brothers and me when he was maybe 4 or 5 and realized that one of my cousin's boys looked a lot like him at that age.
