Yeah it’s very rare you find someone who enjoys the books after the 2nd - 3rd book. When this forum used to be filled with members everyone hated the boring books, myself included.

I think the only book member still around is Rita from time to time.

I’m surprised you ladies didn’t find season 3 slow. You are the first two I’ve seen say this. Very new to me. It’s why the board is so dead now, no ones interested. I go into the Outlander topic on TV board and even they talk about how boring it’s got. It’s good that you still enjoy it though. At least they have some viewers. To keep it going.

i mean i thought the season was boring aswell, but kept watching cause i wanted to see how it went, and i havent read the books.

I suppose that it depends on what group you're looking at (in terms of taste, age, background, etc) because I know a lot of people who enjoyed the third season and who enjoy the later books as well. Actually, in most other forums I've seen (not fanforum) the consensus is that Dragonfly in Amber/Season 2 was duller. The ratings of the show have grown each season. Season 3 averaged a 0.32 rating with 1.512 million viewers. Season 2 averaged 0.22 ratings with 1.088 million viewers. So I don't think it's in any trouble of not having viewers. But opinions regarding whether it's enjoyable or not will vary.

When the ratings was posted here as episodes aired, they continually dropped throughout season 3

And as i said, in regards to losing viewers, I was on about season 4 as most people here have no dropped Outlander.

Maybe we should take this over to season 3 discussion thread as this is solely for Sam/Jamie discussion.

Heidi, same! I think i'll stick it through though because i've been watching it for so long now. Just waiting for Brianna/Roger now.
