How did you plan it yourself? Google where the locations are and worked out the best route to visit them all?

Did you top at multiple hotels or at one and drive long distances everyday?

no. I played it by ear. I don't like overly planned things, one day or more like half a day at a time more like.

There's a nice little article in The Scotsman about Sam's early career in Youth Theater. There are a few pics from early in his career;



and a commercial that he did that was apparently very popular in Scotland


The article has some cute little stories about baby Sam's beginnings. I liked the one about him forgetting his lines in A Midsummer Night's Dream (a 9 year old playing a fairy helped him out). You can read it here.
