Destruction of Clans?

Is anyone else confused by the start of season 3. The whole driving purpose for the last series was to stop the Jacobite rebellion and battle of Culloden because it leads to the destruction of the clans and the Highland way of life. At the start of season 3 we see life at Lallybroch 8 years after Culloden with life carrying on much as we last saw it, including collecting rents from tenants. Admittedly, Jamie is on the run but otherwise it is like the rebellion never happened.

They aren't showing the changes and they should be

Though the estate remained somewhat exempt from persecution as Jamie transferred the rights to his nephew in time and since the owner didn't take part in the rebellion, the place could remain largely as it was.

I assume they will show them eventually. There's things that have happened to characters that you don't find out until book 4... so I daresay we'll hear the stories later on or even in a possible S4. I don't think they've been ignored, it's just so far the show has been focused on Jamie (who is on the run because of the battle) and Claire (who was sent through the stones before the battle.) I daresay that when they rejoin there will be episodes of them telling each other what happened.

The heavy sighing Jade.
During the first episode we got a lot of Jamie's breathing during the shots where he was lying on the battle field. During the second episode we got a lot of Claire's breathing in bed. Just that it's so loud

I'm going to rewatch them both for the third time tomorrow, I'll have to keep my ears peeled for it. I suppose it's going to be one of them things of, once you hear it, you can't unhear it.
