For me this dragged on too long. Like they skipped it and he was already dead lying on top of him, should have just left it there... but then they did like a 5 minute slow motion sequence... I was like jeezeeee we get it.

Okay, here's my only issue with the season 3 premiere. Why is it that after Claire and Frank move to the USA and are living in Boston with Frank working at Harvard University, that every American they meet has to act like a total to them? Both Frank's boss at Harvard and the doctor who delivered Claire's baby were rude and condescending, especially to Claire. We're not that bad, are we?

Oh yeah, and Jamie and Black Jack's final fight was kind of... man-lovey. I mean, did Black Jack hug him before they collapsed on each other?

I totally was thinking it seemed an awful lot like a hug too

I have no idea if Americans are that bad, I'm not American
But, I didn't take it to mean that American men were being rude and condescending. I took it to mean that men in that time were rude and condescending and that quite honestly Claire was pretty lucky with both Frank and Jamie who allowed her to speak her mind

It did seem like a hug, but i think he just passed out and happened to land on Jamie. Broke his fall

I don't think that was a jab at Americans, just men of the era in general

Yeah it's just how times were, not a jab at americans. The scottish were rude to Claire at first too, but it weren't a jab at Scottish people.

I am sure the old Brienna gets, the more likely they are to be accepted because their daughter is now an American citizen.
