Nah season 1 was very dry and very slow. He prefers action. More happened in season 2, but he's now hooked.

My hubby read the books as well. He says he wishes he didn't though cause the show isn't as good without the surprise element.

My boyfriend doesn't read much outside of comics, but I think that he wouldn't like these books. They're so boring, the show is dry at times, but at least he has moving images to look at rather than blocks of text I wish my boyfriend did read though, we'd have so much to talk about

See, and I felt Season 2 was dry

Husband reads a lot, but I don't think he'd read or enjoy these books. He's more into Dan Brown and such (though he does read all of my YA books when he has nothing else to read).

My hubby needs subtitles for the show! LOL, makes me laugh. But my man didn't like the first season because, as was said before, 'slow and dry'. Im going to talk him into watching this last one. Its more fun watching this show with someone. The ending of season 1 really bothered him.

Where are you from Jazzy?

My Husband needs subtitles as well (I'm from The Netherlands) so he'll only watch it when the DVD's are out.

I live in Oregon, USA. My hubby is from Texas though originally and has trouble understanding english and scottish accents

The Netherlands! That awesome. Im so glad Outlander is more global now, and not just a US show. More people need to gaze upon Sam Heughan, the world would be a better place.

This is so unique, i don't think i've ever really struggled with accents. Unless it's super thick accents, but Outlander doesn't really have any considering all but sam use fake ones
