One of the cylinders is broken. But in this car, you can't just replace one cylinder, you have to replace the entire panel.
And then the reason the cylinders break is because of the bougies, so those need to be replaced as well.
It's not too bad, the estimated cost is around €200,-

What did y'all do this weekend?

We had a great time at the zoo yesterday!
Went to the zoo with all of my siblings and their families, then had a BBQ at our house.
It was tiring though, by the time they all left, we just went straight to bed

2 older sister, 2 younger brothers

So it was :
- My dad + girlfriend
- Sister + boyfriend and nephew
- Sister + husband and nephew
- Brother
- Brother + girlfriend
- Myself + husband + 3 kids

And then for the BBQ, Sister's Husband's parents joined us as well

about my family? Yeah, technically I do have a large extended family but getting together regularly would be difficult since we live in different towns and countries

Same for us though
One of my sisters lives in England, the rest lives in other cities as well, but at least in The Netherlands.

This is the first time in 5 years we all met up

Last time our family was together was for my nephew's wedding almost two years ago.

My sister had her wedding last year, but even then we didn't all get together. But that's not that strange, because her wedding was in England, most people just didn't have the funds to go

What's everyone up to today?

I have viewing lessons at the kids' school, parents are allowed to sit in for one lesson for each child Today I'll be going to Youngest Son's gym lesson

I love that you have such a big and close family. Mine is small and broken It's why I love Lukes family so much. His is so big and they're so close.

My mom's side of the family used to be close when I was a kid. We would all get together frequently. But now that all us kids have grown up, suddenly all my mom's siblings don't get along with each other. And it makes my mom sad that my brothers and I aren't close. I mean, I get along just fine with my brothers, but growing up Mom's best friends were here siblings and she doesn't like that we're not like that. I try to remind her that for me at least, my brothers were 12 and 14 when I left home to go to college in another state. And this was prior to the advent of facebook. In fact, I'd say facebook and smart phones have brought my brothers and I closer than when we lived together.

That's what happened with my mom. She grew up close with her siblings and now has nothing to do with them. Hasn't seen them in years. I have a brother I see only on Christmas Day if he wants to come down. So maybe once a year I see him. Other than that I just see my mom and boyfriend daily.

I always get so frustrated when people claim that the new forms of communication ruined relationships. It's exactly the opposite!

I use my family as the perfect example. Maybe there's some truth to saying facebook is a much more detached mode of knowing what's going on, but from my perspective I know what's going on so when I see my family in person I can ask them about things. No one in my family likes talking on the phone, so until facebook I wouldn't see or hear from my brothers for years at a time.

We have a Facebook Family group where we make arrangements to all meet up (once every five years )
