^ Yes, Southern CA, and don't get me started...

The population has tripled since the late 60's- 70's and yet CA has built ZERO new reservoirs or aquifers in the entire state. Building almost any public works water related project in this state is ridiculously long and met with all sorts of obstacles.

It makes me feel guilty for vacationing in San Diego and/or LA. I'm using valuable water!

My roommate's from the San Fran area and I asked her why they didn't build desalinization plants. She said people kept voting them down because they didn't want to pay more taxes. If only they could route all these flood waters in TX over into CA...
