We were just happy to get out of the house (after all the snow and ice) and run errands,etc. over the weekend. Nothing exciting, but it was nice to be out and about.

I did not watch the Oscars. But I'm slightly intrigued by the Lady Gaga sings the Sound of Music thing that happened. I may have to check it out a sometime.
 I didn't get out of the house at all this weekend...b/c of snow and such. Played in the snow again with my niece yesterday. Today I worked. I'm really looking forward to storytime at the library on Wednesday. I also have so many things that need to be returned. Including Drums of Autumn which I hope to finish before then!  Its like 2 weeks overdue!  __________________

The video of Lady Gaga is up on the movie board. She really surprised me not only with the vocal performance, but she went sans kabuki makeup. I would never have recognized her in a crowd.

She was fantastic!
I always kind of get annoyed by celebrities that try to "shock" their fans (like wearing a meat dress) but I think THIS is the best shock of all ... coming out and making everyone be in awe of your talent! __________________
