This episode was one of my favourites. Just a constancy of sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for Laoghaire to find out.

Lovely to see flashbacks of Frank. Also relieved to find out he left Claire because he knew she goes back to Jamie (and sadly dies with him.) Bit shocked Brianna has seen it before though and when Roger showed her it was brand new information?

Sad that she never told him she loved him the night he died too.

I was thrilled to see Tobias/Frank again! I like that we see Frank's side of it more, since (even though I like Jamie) he got the short end of the stick. Really enjoyed the Frank/Brianna scenes, and the final moment between them when Brianna looks up and sees Frank smiling at her.

I was surprised to see Laoghaire too ... and was wondering if she would redeem herself. Nope, she's still and bitter. At first she was nice to Brianna, and I thought perhaps she had let go of the hatred, etc. I was appalled that she would take it out on Jamie's daughter after finding out who Brianna's parents were.

I think it was more a matter of Brianna wasn't reading the article that Frank had re: Jamie and Claire's death. Brianna had no idea about Jamie by that point.

That scene explained why Frank was determined to return to England and to take Brianna with him. He was looking out for "his" daughter.

The fact we got to see more of Franks side, made him look like less of the monster he turned out to be. I really hated how he told Claire to leave her past behind which she did, but then treated her so poorly. But now we know that he had a reason behind what he did and it would have worked regardless of his death.

It was a shame about Laoghaire because she was so kind before she found out who she was.

I get that Brianna not might have read it in full down to the names, but what I meant was: it was the exact same print out Roger had. She must have thought "I've seen that title before."

I still can't believe that Laoghaire saved Bree's life and then tried to have her burned as a witch! I also can't get the image out of my head of the mother jumping out the hatch door after her daughter.

Ended up saving her to see her life end the way she wanted Claire's too. Thankfully she got away!
