Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Mel, Chelle, or Rora a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Would everyone be happy to keep the same sort of colours you've got now (we can't keep it exactly the same, but we can try to keep it similar) or would you like something different? (but still nothing too harsh/bright/dark)

There’s none of Roger for the new series yet that’s why I said it might be best to wait. If they release one i’d Definitely say to keep the current colours.

No that is Roger, but I thought it had to be a studio shoot for a banner, not a magazine shoot.

The team has been working on the graphic since the thread was started . If you had decided to delay the process then we would have closed this & posted the explaination of why

I wasn't aware you'd started as I thought the thread gets closed when the art is finished. There's more photos! And photos that are filled with green so easier to keep this theme.

If those one's of Claire and Jamie are too "dressy" compared to their children, here's some more promo shoots of them actually in character. The photoshoot in the link you posted was just for a magazine not character shoot.

Maybe photo Exclusive 5 in the first link will work well with the Brianna and Roger photos, as it's mostly brown and they're coupled like how they are too.

Thanks for the pictures Jade . I'm not sure if those are the best quality to be used for the graphic. Then its a shame that there's only three of them but I suppose we can match the solo picture of Brianna with the dark background with them (or any other picture posted of her probably for that mater )

As the team has been working on your graphic since the thread was started & there are other pictures available some graphics which are included in the poll to choose which will be the winning graphic will contain other pictures posted in this thread not the new ones. I've brought the new pictures to the teams attention with your preference for them (or at least my presumption on your preference) which will be taken into consideration. However as being on the team is voluntary & real life must come first some may not be able to make any changes to the graphics they have already made. We may also find that the other pictures are of better quality to the new ones so may look better in your graphic & we want the best possible look for your board & graphic. As outline in the OP of this thread:

I'm not too sure what your post means? Does that mean there's no point in me posting possible photos anymore?

In the past these threads have had about 2-3 pages worth of suggestions such as colour schemes and photos and a notice had been posted the GT to say they had started. If the three photos you posted were going to be the three definitely used without notice why was the thread started?
