Yup. I figure this is the Chas ep and then we might get one more John ep, a Zed one and then the Newcastle ep.

It was great learning how Chas got to keep coming back to life. What a weird story (of course), but perfectly concocted imo.

The way he saved his daughter was brilliant, so much more straightforward than John's magic.

Glad Zed's ok. I've liked her better with each successive episode.

I loved seeing more of Chas/John's friendship. I also love that Chas was telling his daughter about the lives he carries.

This was a very good episode.

It was good. Did you like how powerful Felix Faust is? Wasn't expecting Chas to do that to his own throat. That was actually pretty gross. Was not a fan of Rene blaming John for for what Chas does in his life. Chas is a grown man. I don't remember John forcing him to do anything.

It was interesting. I liked Felix Faust, he was an interesting adversary. As for Renee, I think she was also thing of her daughter...

I finally got caught up on the show.
I liked this ep.

I felt bad for Chas and his daughter though. And it is interesting to know that Chas isn't forever like this.. he only has like 30 lives left. I guess after those runs out he'll be normal again?

Well he's not immortal. And once those lives are gone, he'll either be dead or only have his 1 life left.

Finally watched the episode, and I really liked it!!

Have to say that I'm happy they gave a limited number of times that Chas can die... it would be boring if he just was an immortal and could die as many times as he wanted.
I think the relationship Chas with his family was well shown considering it was all done in part of one episode. We got to see that they actually tried to make it work, but in the end just grew apart because of circumstances. I liked Rene! Even though it might seem unfair that she blames John for Chas' behavior/actions, she has her priorities straight and that is her family/daughter, so I can understand that.

Good continuity in showing that the Rising Darkness is turning mediocre mages into powerful ones overnight.... it's a good hint that something huge is coming.

And I LOVE Zed! Even though I think her acting is forced some of the times, I like the character.

He does have the option to choose how he lives & he does want to help others, so that could be a conundrum depending on how far he goes to help people. I did like in this episode that John told Chas the spell was originated by Merlin to protect King Arthur.
