It was clearly a hint towards 7x4 (regardless of whether felicity is alive or not). You don't go out of your way to reference a movie that people barely remembers, and that was released in the early nineties when you were a baby as a joke. Especially when you're talking about felicity in the flashforward that happens to be a big coincidence too big.
But i don't believe that she's dead anymore anyway (first of all because then i would have to stop watching no can do) and then because where are the articles from ew or tvline or tvguide? nobody's talking about it? as if they knew it was a fakeout and didn't want to waste their time on it __________________

She was a Council woman and is now the mayor and will probably end up dead by season's end.
Shadow directing means she's learning how to direct. Which means she's new at it. Should be directing Arrow then because you wouldn't shadow someone for a show you won't be working on. __________________

She was wrong.
They're now on a filming hiatus yet. They'll take off for US Thanksgiving in 2 weeks and again for a few weeks once it's Christmas/NY's time. __________________
