However, the real and true star of this episode is Emily Bett Rickards. Felicity has clearly been a fan favorite since her introduction, and this week she’s probably going to win over some holdouts. Emily’s shifts between Felicity’s humor and heartbreak, as well as her awkwardness and fierceness, are so seamless that it seems like Rickards is playing six characters in one, but you never doubt that each and every one of them is Felicity. Every moment she has in this episode was stunning.

We went back and forth on the right venue. Does it happen in Starling City? Does it happen in Nanda Parbat? They end up sleeping together in Nanda Parbat and I think we all sort of liked the romance of that.
