Depends on who's giving the speech and what they say. Olicity's love always makes me emotional, I could see getting emotional over a really beautiful speech about their love.

I'm thinking Bam basically meant there would be happy moments, tears of joy may have been an exaggeration. Like I said they all like to over hype things.

I think he's probably trying to keep us guessing. MG clearly said there would be time after the death to deal with the aftermath, which really implies a few episodes at least. And SA said end of the season not season finale, end of the season is a broader time. So I think he's just trying to keep us on our toes, make the death really surprising. There's just no way the death is after like 4x20 at the latest.
