I think they did tie in the stories pretty well on both shows. But like I've mentioned before, I can imagine lots of energy was spent on the cross-overs. They really need to focus more on their own shows. More people writing an episode would mean room for more disagreements, you know? It can't be easy for both Flash and Arrow writing teams to make a cross-over episode. I wonder if it was more of a marketing strategy. Arrow watchers, go watch The Flash! Flash watchers, go watch Arrow! And then the popularity grows, hey let's make a spinoff: The Legends of Tomorrow!

It can. Up until now I think it has benefited both shows - lbr Arrow is not so young anymore and CW is a cheap network, if it wasn't for the spin-offs it would get even less promo and money - But trying to keep it all in the same universe can turn into a big mess

Yeah, since it isn't a cable network, promotion is even more essential.

I thought Ray was an interesting character, look forward to seeing him on Legends of Tomorrow!
