I don't think so Private cons happen all the time during the year and are completely unrelated to the networks. They are not informed, involved (or even interested) in it. Black Lightning is starting soon, there was not really any other good moment to do it

They not only promoted black lightning but also flash and legends of tomorrow, they could have invited someone from arrow, someone who wasn't going to be at HVFF instead of just ignoring it in my opinion

as for HVFF apparently stephen has shares or something but it's kept on the down low i tried to get infos on that but it's hard to find but i mean good for stephen for being smart and having good friends like Emily and David who are pretty much exclusive to HVFF now

Oh you meant it was disrespectful not to invite anyone from Arrow, not so much that it was organized at the same time than a convention. Well yes otoh we don't know what's going on bts so

to be honest everyone keeps saying black lightning is great and i'm excited for them and it's such an important show for everybody but i'm afraid it's just going to replace arrow i don't want that to happen

Black Lightning is not replacing Arrow. The network has enough timeslots to keep it like forever, plus the show is syndicated. It's just that Arrow is getting old so it's just closer to the end that the beginning
