Having it in may is the best because it's not too warm but it's sunny and you can have barbecues, only issue is at uni, it's usually in the middle of the exams

Because they're all summer babies (babies conceived during summer break) that's why it's so popular

Another very popular month in Europe and US is September (babies conceived around the New Year). August in the US has a lot of births (9 months after Thanksgivings), basically you just look at the vacation periods
