Okay one of the tiaras with a good story is the Swedish Cameo parure


The set started out as Royal jewels for empress Joséphine married to Napoleon.
After her death, the set was in her sons' possession - his daughter also named Joséphine (of Leuchtenberg) got married to Prince Oscar of Sweden and Norway. He was not much Swedish - but actually French! Oscar's father was born Jean Bernadotte and served as a Marshal of the Empire under Napoléon before he was elected as Sweden's future king.

And the mother of Prince Oscar was from my hometown! (Désirée Clary, we have a subway station named after her) She was the first fiancé of Napoleon before he dumped her for Joséphine and she married Jean Bernadotte because he hated Napoleon as much as her

But he was also a very valued jeweler at the Russian court - so many of the Tsar's relatives had jewels and tiaras made by him.
But when the communists hunted down all the aristocrats - many of them fled to Western Europe and the only things of value they brought with them was their jewels. Especially the British Queen Mary bought a lot of it!

But before that happened many European royals had either bought or been gifted Faberge tiaras - these tiaras are some of the most delicate and beautiful ones out there.
