I loved that Holt called out Peralta for his work and cleanliness at the precinct, especially the part where he asked him to identify which photo was his locker and which photo was a garbage dump in the Phillipines.

Holt is going to be baby-sitting Peralta on his vandalism case? This should be good!

How did Gina have a sensuous encounter with a guy named Mark? She went to a bar, got a little drunk, and called out for a guy named Mark.

I can see why. I mean, who wouldn't be amused by a perp who is drawing male genitalia on cop cars? I also loved seeing Peralta and Holt out in the field together, even though Peralta wasn't happy about it.

I loved a lot of the cop movies that were mentioned in the opening scene. Poor Hitchcock getting kicked in the sensitive area not once but twice by the old hooker. I can see why that video is the greatest cop film of all time.

I loved the rest of the squad's slump-busting suggestions, especially Diaz's suggestion. "Fly to Montreal, hit a classy hotel bar, bone a stranger. Slump over."

Peralta can only do 9,500 sit-ups...or three.

I loved that the kids started chanting "Black people can sell drugs!" and then Holt walked in.

Aw, Sarge was building a dollhouse for his girls? I love seeing big, tough men doing sweet (and unexpected) things for their girls and/or women in their lives. Boyle had a dollhouse just like it when he was a kid? It sounds like he has had quite a childhood.

I knew that Santiago and Diaz weren't going to get through to the kids and that they were only going to listen to Gina. All it took was her weird dancing and listing the perks of being a cop for them to sign up. She's awesome!

I loved that Peralta got out of his slump by himself (with some nudging by Holt). Doing mindless tasks really do re-boot and inspire.

"But sir, I don't get it. If that was your plan, why bother with Smitty and the rabbit's foot?" "Well, there's a good reason for that. I was, I believe the term is, messing with you." "Oh.
