Katey Sagal was a gift, as expected. I felt so bad for poor Jake, but I must say that Andy really killed it in this episode.
Also, poor Charles (and Rosa).  And I like that Scully solved the last puzzle in the bunker! |

Definitely a good ep, I want to see more Karen! I loved seeing some of Jake's childhood and Amy's reactions to it
Melissa was so great in this episode, I cringed (at the itsy bitsy spider stuff) and laughed at her reactions so much.Poor Charles, I still can't get over "Benny and the Jets". __________________

Great episode, still not a fan of Jake's dad. Good for Jake for sticking up for his mom! Amy is absolutely adorkable. Great casting for Jake's mom, Katey Sagal was perfect.
Poor Charles... oh man, his privates were zoomed in for all to see  __________________

This was my favourite part

I don't talk about the amazing guest-stars that pop up on the show, but I'm going to gush a little bit. Katey Sagal is Mama Peralta?! Oh, happy day! You have no idea how much it thrills me that the actress that played Peggy Bundy and Gemma Teller Morrow is also going to play the role of Mama Peralta.  Back to the show. What a wonderful birthday surprise for Peralta to find out that his parents were seeing each other.   Body-cam Charles...just spilled soup on the body-cam!  And Diaz saw the Full Boyle when she took down the perp in the bathroom where he was getting cleaned-up. Awkward!   __________________

Santiago 'Itsy Bitsy Spider'ed Peralta's parents when she ran out of stuff from the binder to talk about. Diaz's body-cam captured Boyle's Bennie and the Jets. I loved that Santiago went with Peralta's excuse that she was plugged up so that Peralta could talk to his dad alone. That's love. __________________
