The Mattress (3x07) Episode Discussion November 15th, 8:30/7:30c on FOX  JAKE AND AMY HIT THE STREETS ON AN ALL-NEW “BROOKLYN NINE-NINE” SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15, ON FOX Jake and Amy convince the Captain to let them work a case together involving a new street drug, but their new relationship gets in the way. Meanwhile, at the precinct, Charles panics when he realizes he’s damaged one of Holt’s prized possessions and Terry teaches Rosa a lesson in discipline. Cast: Andy Samberg as Det. What a great episode! Domestic Jake and Amy is my jam. I love that they watch Property Brothers together
 And the mattress jumping was amazing.Charles singing Charles in Charge cracked me up and his love for Jake/Amy is always the best. Gina helping him out was unexpected but I loved it. I like them toning down the harshness of Gina and will always be here for it. Rosa and ballet? Awesome. __________________

Man, this episode was great. I loved all three of the subplots. Always here for Jake/Amy being cute doofuses in love, and I love how Gina stood up for Charles (and how they managed to intertwine that plot with the Jake/Amy plot with Holt's attachment to Gertie). Also, Rosa dancing!!!

Wonderful episode!!
Finally some Jake/Amy scenes... I love how they're still both truly themselves around each other. Little arguments make the relationship authentic. Good job, writers! They're super adorable together... especially love the brief handholding moment on the mattress. Gina/Charles/Holt/Gertie subplot was great! Love how mature Gina is this season  Great cupcake move there. Rosa dancing ballet with her serious face?! LOVE  __________________

Pretty good episode. Enjoyed the Charles/Gina/Holt plot more than I thought I would. The bit where Gina left a cupcake in Holt's seat just to prove a point cracked me up and I liked the Orangina/Orange soda references too.

  Santiago and Peralta took their partnership from the sheets to the streets.   Aw, it was their first case as a couple!  Quote:

^ Poor Gertie.
 I loved seeing Peralta and Santiago in the mattress store where they tested them all out, bouncy-styles.   And right on schedule, they had the fight. Peralta was not so ready to investing in the mattress. Since he was doing it to make sure that Santiago could sleep in his bed, his hesitation did seem to say that he didn't think she was worth the long-term investment.  Aw, Boyle tossed and turned because Peralta told him about the fight and Boyle was worried about them. Quote:
