So is Amy's rule going to be the reason to delay them getting together I wonder? I'm not sure if I can take another season of them dating other people

I don't really get why Amy told Jake about her 'no cop rule' she must have had an inkling that Jake is still into after that gaff with the sex joke. Unless maybe she just panicked and decided to put it out there before he had the chance to tell her how he feels about her.

Maybe she's afraid she's gonna lose him if something goes bad. She values this friendship so much, but there will come a moment when they have to deal with their feelings.

I don't think I could take that either... Right now is the perfect moment, how much further into the show are they going to wait? 2 seasons of them developing their feelings is slow paced enough: they have known each other for years, they're both single, their friendship has gotten stronger... it's romantic-stylez time already!

I agree. Keeping them apart forcibly when they obviously are crushing on each other feels inorganic. However, a lot of couples tend to become boring once they get together so I don't know if that's what I want. I do know that I want to see a kiss tho, they might as well backtrack later, I just need them to have that moment in S2
