Oh, I agree with you on the first point. I was just a little conflicted over whether or not the writers would go there so soon. But you make a good point about Iris not immediately making that connection. It seems from the trailer, though, that whomever Barry is winking it is the same person whom he tells "I'll give you a headstart." I could be wrong but it seems like the same shot. And I doubt he's talking to a villain but...I am not sure he's talking to Iris either? What do you guys think?

If it's Iris that would be a fun surprise but he's not disguising his voice. It makes no sense to me she wouldn't recognize her BFFs voice.

That would be a stretch. I can understand her not recognizing him in a costume but his voice? I can't see it.

That's what I was thinking too. I'd love it but doesn't seem realistic for her not to know it's Barry.

You could be right. These promos are so quickly edited that it's hard to connect one clip with another. I thought I saw the Jitters sign in the background of that 'wink' shot, but it could be another sign and another scene altogether. I guess we'll find out in two weeks (ugh, too long to wait for this epic Flash/Iris meet!)
