I like the pacing with DeVoe, their late villain reveals in seasons past were a drag. I prefer longer arcs - it's just do they have the chops to see it through. I would take two jail episodes. More bus meta (villain of the weeks) and some of them should tie into the main plot. I would like an Iris centric and Wally centric episode (if/when he exits for LoT) but that's wishful thinking.

They should do another episode on a different earth like 2x13 and 2x14 those were so popular. They haven't matched those again for some odd reason but they milk the crossovers dry.

I'm betting on the vows resurfacing in Dawn's hands too because they made such a point to insert her hands.

I agree. In seasons past, by the time they "revealed" who the villains were, everyone already knew. Divulging the villain this early was a good idea. As stated, execution is the key. It could go only two ways. Hopefully, the writers put some thought into how all this plays out I hope the story lasts for a least three eps; that way we can find out what the Thinker's real plan is. Exactly what is this "enlightenment"? And why do the DeVoes hate Barry so much?

Certainly hope so!! It'd be nice to see them renew their vows w/out certain someones being there Besides, Joe needs to give away his baby girl again, & have a chance to witness that beautiful moment.

Yes, agreed. It's all about the execution. The fact that they planned this season (unlike the last two) helps. DeVoe's reasoning and endgame is key in whether the story ebs and flows.

A two parter would be good. If it were to explain what Dawn is doing in the past. Or if they wanted to do an Earth-19 two parter for a filler that does drive the plot. For example: the machine Savitar mentioned that they need to stop DeVoe requires equipment that can only be made on Earth-19. The Earth-2 episodes were such a success. I don't know why they haven't leaned into. Fans love seeing different versions of Barry, Iris, Joe, Cisco etc.

I would loveeeeeee for them to have a re-do. I can't even put into words how much the crossover angered me off. Westallen have a knack for doing things several times over, so why not this? It's what we deserve.

I agree with most of this. The crossover, was what it was but I was not as upset at you. I don't think. I would love to see an alt earth episode again. I agree with you about the two parter in season two. I loved that!! But what I really want is a future episode. I want to know about Dawn and what's going on. Maybe she comes back and in telling Bary and Iris, why she came, we get to see her story, which is in the future? Anyway, a girl can dream.

Btw, I am still waiting for the reason as to why the reverse Flash hates Barry. So I also agree about DeVoe and his reason why he hates Barry.

yeah, i also don't know why they haven't returned to E2 or even gone to another Earth with new doppelgängers of the team. that stuff is always fun, i'd love to see an evil Iris for example.

she could come to this earth, kidnap the real Iris and try to seduce Barry. it's such an obvious idea i can't believe they haven't done it.

they could seriously visit a different Earth every season, so we see different doppelgängers every season.

I've always wanted an episode that takes place in the future 20+ years from now! Not like the one in s3 where Iris is dead and team flash is dismantled, but one where everything is perfect. Barry is retired and of course still married to Iris raising their teenage twins, fully powered Kid Flash and Vibe, Flash museum honoring Barry's heroics for all those yrs (central city will know he's the Flash). Now that Dawn is here they could easily write a story where she needs our Barry's help with something in the future. It could be so epic. Huge missed opportunity if they never do it.

Yes please! Can we have all if that?! I don’t even need everything to be perfect, just normal and not all depressing like last time. Like you said, when Iris was dead and the team was fractured.

That's all on The Flash writers. They should have given them a small reception/uninterrupted honeymoon in the next episode. They knew that what happened in the crossover wasn't right because they gave Barry and Iris those lines. It's on them to rectify it.

I am glad that the media are 100% on Barry and Iris' side so I hope they change the format for the next crossover. No more undeserved charity work.

Of course the media are on their side. It's only in fandom that you can attempt to skew the most obvious universal norms of society.

It is all on The Flash writers, the EPs. They should do something. I mean Westallen are going through hell now with Barry being on trial. A reception or a beautiful re-do after this would be what they deserve and need.

The crossovers do nothing for the Flash ratings. All this charity work boosting Supergirl, Arrow and Legends demos. We deserve a meddle.
