I agree they are both human and not perfect. I don't like that they cheated. Thought if it were other people I probably would be disappointed. but I'm westallen shipper so I'm bias and I can't find it in myself to be mad.

I didn't have any issues with the set up and thought it made sense. Though I am biased, lol.

I dunno but I just don't see the show portraying Iris/Eddie and Linda/Barry as anything other then obstacles. So its hard for me to get up in arms with either case. I get others may feel different.

I agree with that. They are really just there to cause angst. I mean I know that Eddie and Linda as characters have more of a story, but right now they are used to fuel Westallen angst.

Eddie's last name was a dead giveaway that things will not end well for I/E. I'm still disappointed the writers chose Linda for this role. She has her own place in the flash mythos. She's Wally West's true north/great love.

Well...I don't know. It's not like Iris sought Linda out to tell her that Barry had feelings for her. Linda came to her and Iris was just being honest. *shrugs* lol I don't think she meant anything by the bowling alley comment either. That was just the writers' way of highlighting her and Barry's connection. And I thought the Becky Cooper mention was about confirming that Iris has been suppressing her feelings for Barry more than anything else.

Maybe they still will be but I really dislike how they have handled Linda's introduction. And I'm not just talking about her relationship with Barry but how they've written her in relation to Iris. Let's just say I'm not feeling her right now, lol which is disappointing because I was really excited about her joining the show. Hopefully, once this arc is over, we'll see some improvement in the writing for Linda/Iris.
