Previously on Flash!
I like hearing Barry's perspective on everything again at the beginning of the episode. First scene of the episode is with Barry and Felicity. YES! Felicity being so confused. As a lot of fans are. lol Felicity is one of the smartest human beings but she is just so confused. lol Barry is explaining the full story about how everything has changed. So not only Iris and Joe relationship has changed, Cisco is now a depressed person who doesn't nickname people.... So, Barry and Iris did not kiss on the Porch in this timeline. And Iris is actually upset with Joe for not telling her the truth instead of being okay with it like in the normal timeline. I liked how happy Felicity seemed about Iris and Barry kissing. Julian Albert meta-human CSI specialist. No idea how I feel about him yet... Dante is dead in this timeline. This is just so sad. Cisco is just so confused... "So you altered the timeline. Joe and Iris don't talk anymore, there's a guy at work-- a new guy-- who doesn't like you, you never kissed Iris, and Cisco brother is dead. Admittedly, that is an issue." OMFG. Diggle has a son in this world, John Diggle Jr. We saw John Diggle on Legends of Tomorrow for fans who don't know so this is a huge shocker.... More work with Barry, Julian and Detective West. and of course Barry doesn't get how he worked with Julian for a year and nice for Barry he doesn't like Julian now and didn't like him before. lol Cisco brother, Dante was killed months ago by a drunk driver. I love Barry trying to get the whole gang together. And chatting back and forth with Iris and Joe was hilarious. lol Talk about the most awkward dinner ever. lol Just depressing. I like Wally and Barry friendship. lol Oh. Cisco is upset with Barry because he won't go back in time to save his brother Dante. Black Flash Clariss He noticed that Barry is changed the timeline. Very wise... Black Flash vs The Flash!! I loved that Iris knew that something was off with Barry! She told him to be honest with her or this relationship between them can't work. Of course Barry default answer is to go back in time again to change things. However, YESS!! this time Jay (Henry's doppelganger) from Earth-3 stopped Barry. YES! Back to 1998 where Dawson's Creek was on television. John Wesley Snipes was on that show so nice touch writers. Great conversation between Jay and Barry. It was just so needed. "Were not gods, we're men." AMazing scene! Jay was 100% on point and Barry needed a conversation with the person who looked like his dad. Barry finally telling everyone the truth. This is going to be the most difficult for Cisco to hear... wouldn't he blame Barry even more. Cisco feel betrayed that Barry can go back in time to save his family but can't do the same for Dante. I can't deal with this. Cisco is one of the best characters who always is having fun, now he doesn't even nickname characters anymore. Cisco said that he's asked Barry so many times to go back in time to save his brother but he didn't. I feel the most sorry for Cisco because in the original storyline, Dante didn't die. This is sadly all Barry's fault. I love Iris talking to the team talking about how they need to believe in each other. Joe and Iris hug. Cisco has his Vibe powers. and he helped Barry!!! Joe and Iris make up and hugs. No one wants to know what their lives were in Flashpoint and Cisco is slowly returning to themselves. Seems like everyone will eventually get powers in this timeline again. And wow Caitlin will become Killer Frost. Can't wait to find out who in the world is Alchemy.... Barry and Iris first real official kiss after like 3 times? lol I'm just shocked by this episode, it's so much to sink in right now. lol |

- Awww… Dante died and Cisco is all sad and isn’t making up funny names anymore . Someone give Cisco a hug.
- So, Iris is mad that Joe lied to her about her mother. She has every right to be. - Wow, Barry changed Diggle’s kid? I guess that makes sense considering the future Star City we saw in Legends of Tomorrow. Guess they planned ahead. - Barry is trying so hard to fix things and is just making everyone mad at him. Most awkward family dinner ever. - Thank you for giving Barry the metaphorical smack upside the head he needed, Jay! You’re awesome. Dear show, can we have Mentor!Jay on a regular basis? Barry needs him big time. - So the husks are what happens to people when Alchemy “alters” them to their Flashpoint versions. Interesting. - Iris standing up for her man! “You’ll always be Barry, I’ll always be Iris, and we’ll always find each other” followed by a kiss that won't be erased this time! - Cisco knows how to use his Vibe powers now! Awesome - Killer Frost! Aka Caitlin is finally getting a story that doesn’t revolve around her love life! - Oh look, they upgraded the metahuman prisons with beds and toilets. I guess Iron Heights has more money than STAR Labs did. __________________

I freaking loved this episode so much. I can't wait to rewatch it. I mean, I liked the premiere, but this one... Seeing the actual world that was created by the events, and them having to accept it. I'm in love. Having Julian there, Killer Frost, all the things really!

Loved this episode.
Finally, Caitlin is becoming Killer Frost, been wanting that to happen since season 1. Loved seeing Cisco's powers in this episode. I really hope Barry tells him what he was like in Flashpoint. Loved Tom's character Julian. Loved seeing Jay again, that scene really surprised me. This episode proves to me why Cisco is my favorite character on the show. So Flashpoint effected Arrow's timeline, so I wonder if that will change Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow timelines. __________________

Love those recaps you guys posted here. I loved the episode!
- I love Julian / Barry dynamic. It's something else for Barry. - Henry, Imean Jay smacking that truth into Barry was so great! I hope we’ll get to see much more of him in S3. - Cisco - but I’m also so hopeful for him and Barry - Iris / Joe – I kind of thought the rift between them will be for a longer period of time but just as they decided to wrap Flashpoint in one episodes, Barry coming to his senses also took only one. That’s ok, I can feel the season will be packed with many other challenges so… - Iris standing behind Barry and being supportive is the best thing ever but I also loved how she’s can call him on his BS and stand up to him. Attagirl! - Now her and Barry at the end….Just………… I’m so excited I found the show just in time for a season of #westallen bliss. Thank you show. __________________

I guess I'm in the minority by saying that I really didn't like this episode...I didn't hate it; I just didn't LIKE it.
For one thing, this episode felt more rushed than last week's; some parts were missing, as was evidenced by the still of Iris @ a crime scene w/Joe. Also, I'm not one for a whole lotta angst, but didn't the Helbings state that there was supposed to be a rift between Joe & Iris? I thought that it would last for a least two episodes...but it got resolved in a few minutes? And Cisco's pain...he was back to telling jokes by the end of the ep? I know they didn't want to stretch things out, but overhype much? Also, Rival was a freakin' waste of time...he took screentime away from the stories that mattered (Joe/Iris & Cisco), & wound up getting killed in the end. Was there a reason (a real reason) to show him at all? And why was Fefe there? If I wanna watch Arrow (which I really don't), then I'll watch Arrow. I don't need to see any Arrow characters (other than Diggle) crossing over to Flash when there isn't a crossover. While others are loving Julian, I'm on the fence w/him. Someone else I think is unnecessary is this Dr. Alchemy. I know he's supposed to be one of the Big Bad's, but his scenes chewed up too much time to me as well. Also, when Flash & Rival were fighting by the waterfront, the camera panned back, & we saw a piece of someone's face that looked a lot like Julian. Now if he "isn't" Dr. Alchemy, why was he hanging out at the waterfront after business hours. I know he wasn't collecting samples!! The Westallen scenes were cute; I liked Barry zooming back & forth between Joe/Iris to get them to have dinner together; the dinner itself; & the porch scene. All in all, it wasn't the WORST ep I've seen (that goes to 1x18), but I hope they stop cramming too much story into one ep, & then delete scenes that would be pertinent to the flow of the story. |

I liked the episode This season already looks much better than S2. I don't feel the need to FF through certain scenes and at this point that's all I want. Who cares about subpar writing and plot holes?
Disappointed that they cut the part with Iris at the crime scene. Also, Cisco's brother. Why did he have to die? Carlos really shined in this episode. Cisco is more than comic relief and I'm glad they are giving Carlos more to do. FlashVibe team up I hope they'll explain how Caitlin got her powers. Maybe show a flashback? I love Julian already The flop dinner was awkward fun. Poor Barry, he tried I didn't mind Felicity in this one. She acted like Barry's sounding board and didn't overshadow the regulars. Erasing Baby Sara from existence was really ugly I still can't believe Iris will finally remember a kiss with Barry __________________
