There's no way they can manage it with nine people having to show up in every episode. Keep in mind that they still haven't announced the villain and the recurring characters.

I've seen shows where their regulars don't appear in every episode, including Arrow and Supergirl. Hopefully the Flash writers realize that if a character is not needed for the story of the week then he/she can be left out.

I think that's likely the plan. The regular status is generally just to ensure people are available when needed.

Can be frustrating for actors, though, because they can't do another show even if they're not filming this one because they have to be available.

True. It kinda sucks to be under a contract as a regular and not have enough to do. I want Nora to be in all episodes next season.

I agree. But I am going to remain optimistic. I mean, she is at the heart of next season. At least she appears to be. So I am going to watch and hope for the best, till I am proven wrong.

She is just in 2018 temporarily, and it's going to be about her, her parents and fixing her mistake. I don't think, that is going to be a thing. I can see her flirting or something, just to see her parents deal with it. Especially Barry, but it would be for comedy. But nothing long term or anything. Just my opinion though.
