I think Henry has some secret he's hiding, running from as well. Time will tell.

I am with all those who understand we will see Henry about as much as before but that's not the point. Henry leaving the day he gets out of Jail is just ridiculous. It makes all Barry's dedication of getting him free seem so not worth it.

This season premiere was not as exciting as the series premiere, but I thought that they did OK w/it.

Atom Smasher was disappointing; I thought there was a lot more to him than that.
Some of the pacing was a little slow; but I'm sure it'll get better as the season progresses.

The best parts of the episode were the Westallen moments (how come Barry didn't try to talk to Iris about her grief?), & the Joe/Iris/Cisco & Stein moments.

Still trying to figure out why Henry just up & left his son after spending 14 yrs. away. I kinda get that he doesn't want to be in the way, but he has to leave town to do that? After that look that he & Joe shared, I think he may be hiding something. (Are we going to go through "let's keep a secret from someone" all over again?)

Overall, I give the eppy a B-.

Talking about Henry didn't the lawyer tell Barry he would get a notice and set things into motion after the video had been watched. Wells playing with Barry yet again; lawyer told Henry something or Wells said something to him about leaving if ever getting out

That was Barry having a daydream of what he wishes could have happened (ie: Eddie alive, Iris in the know, Firestorm as his partner, Caitlin/Ronnie happy, Wells being an actual good guy, etc).

Hmm. Very true. That lawyer was sort of cryptic.

Overall the epsidoe was just okay but i do really think it set up whats to come for the season. I think next weeks episode will be much better.
