First things first – tonight’s episode of The Flash made me laugh out loud a few times. This happened often back in Season 1, but the only episode that has brought a smile to my face since then was the Musical episode. This episode just proves that this show needs more lighthearted moments and less darkness.

Now, on to the show:

- So… Savi!Barry is a leftover time remnant and everyone shunned him. That seems out of character for everyone, but okay. Knowing the characters as we do, you’d think they would have tried to help him out... but I guess this was the Emo-Future?

- Savi!Barry has a remote control suit? Neat. Cisco should get on that…

- Damn… Barry and Savi!Barry disintegrated a bunch of trees in their fight. That’s not good.

- Cisco’s “Erase Barry’s short-term memory” plan made no sense… because then how would Barry remember any strategy they came up with to stop Savitar?

- Barry prefers being called Bart? Are we foreshadowing something, show? Because I’m totally up for seeing some time-traveling grandchildren

- Wally: I’m your brother
Barry *looks at his skin* Um…
Me:

- See how much easier it is when the people close to you know the big secret and you don’t have to make up some lame lie as to why Barry is acting weird, Joe? Now if only you had let Barry tell Iris in Season 1.

- Amnesia!Barry getting all excited and asking Iris about their wedding plans. Cute… but kind of sad that they haven’t even thought about planning their wedding because of Iris's impending doom.

- Even Amnesia!Barry is smitten with Iris. Love it.

- Barry: How do we afford to live here?
The Audience: That’s what we’ve been wondering too…

- YES! Once again Iris kickstarts Barry’s connection to the speedforce, and his memories. There literally is no Flash without Iris West .

Can we delve into that a bit more in the future, show? Let’s go all-in with the “lightning rod” theory.

- So Cisco can build a super secure door for the Arrow-cave, trapping Oliver and Felicity inside... but he can’t apply those skills to STAR Labs? You think he would have deleted Caitlin’s STAR Labs access at the very least.

- Was Cisco getting through to KF a little bit? Maybe he can manage to do it completely by the end of the season.

All Cisco's cherished memories involve Caitlin. Poor Cisco. He just wants his BFF back. I love those two.

- Iris held crying Barry’s head in her lap when he first came home to them? That was just so sweet…

- Did they change the Young Barry/Young Iris actors? I guess the originals were looking too teenage-ish for new flashbacks.

- Ummm… did King Shark get away from ARGUS again? Surely Lyla isn’t that incompetent.

- I need more fun, lighthearted episodes like this in Season 4! Make it happen, show!

IMO, one of the best episodes this season.

- Loved the scenes where Julian and Cisco were working together.

- Loved the courtroom scene. I really hope those glasses are real.

- Loved the Bart Allen shoutout. Really hope we see him!

- Loved amnesiac Barry.

Have to agree with you about Wally and amnesiac Barry.

The Barry and Iris kiss was amazing. Before the kiss happened, I wondered if they do a
Once Upon a Time type kiss and Barry would get his speed/memories back.

I'm with you guys, I loved last night's epi! It had such a S1 feel to it, it was fun and lighthearted, balancing out all the angst of the previous epis. Please have more epis like this!

Thrilled to see that very brief scene with Killer Frost in the elevator where her eyes returned to Caitlins for just a moment.... There is hope!

Now THIS is the type of episode that's been missing these past 3 weeks!

SavBarry's being a time remnant was kinda what I expected...even though his still wanting to kill Iris doesn't make any sense. If the rest of the team shunned him, & Iris didn't, why does he want to kill her? It was kinda cool that SavBarry's suit was remote-controlled(?); too bad that the fight destroyed almost a whole block.

AmnesiaBarry was the most adorable, cutest thing!! He gave E2Barry a run for his money. Even though he didn't remember Iris, he was instantly attracted to her; & she was falling in love w/him all over again. And what's w/Amnesia Barry's fondness for Bart? The scene in CCPD w/Cecile was hilarious! See writers, this is how you should write S4...light on the angst & heavy on the heart. That's what attracted most viewers to S1.

Don't have anything to say about KF, except I thought it was funny when Savitar threw her up against the wall by her neck, & said dramatically, "who am I?" as he looked at the camera.

HR & Tracy were cute...kinda unnecessary to the plot at hand IMO, but we all kinda knew that she would be a potential LI for him.

One thing that I absolutely loved about the ep was the backstory on the WA friendship/relationship. Hearing about their time in high school, the night that Iris fell in love w/Barry...that was the icing on a very tasty cake.

All in all, this was definitely one of the better eps of this season. I haven't LOL in a looong time when watching this show. It was a much needed respite for all the past angst we've gotten, & the angst that's yet to come.

Loved episode 21. One of my favorites because it had that lightness, the Bart mention and every season Westallen has a special episode on 21.
