I'm all for an Iris-centric episode where the Metahuman of the week takes a back seat. I really loved what we got in yesterday's episode. More, please
Anyone know who wrote that episode? Love seeing Geoff Johns so excited for Iris. I don't think he's going to let the show mess her character development up. __________________

Yeah it would be good if there is an episode that mainly concentrates on her being a reporter.
We will definitely see more of her, now that she has this job. __________________

I'm so excited for her and all the places the journalism arc can go. And tbh she could become extremely valuable to team Flash.

I do wonder though, why is the love interest of the heroes always journalists?
If Barry wasn't in his position with the police, it would have been cool to see Iris do that job. __________________

I think it makes sense, based on how journalists (and police) are the ones that share the same passion and they kind of work together, you know?
Also reporters have the coolest job. They get to look hot while walking straight into crazy dangerous situations. They're like the rl version of superheroes. In heels. Without saving people. __________________

The love interests could be others though, as you said, in the police force, or Doctor or something. __________________

She's awesome. And really hot.
They couldn't have picked a more perfect leading lady for this show. __________________

I was just thinking about how I wish they'd write Iris' journalism arc like Zoe Barnes from House of Cards. Minus the willing to do anything for the story. I want to see her asking hard questions, looking for sources, and to see the love she has for journalism. Hopefully we get that...there is so much they can do with her and the flashverse.
