- So… Thawne was jealous of Barry being the Flash? That’s why he turned evil?
- Joe is visiting Wally. I guess that's as good an excuse as any to explain JLM's absence - How is Barry explaining Nora’s presence to the CCPD? She’s Nora “West”, so what’s her cover? - Cisco: I want to get married and have a family one day, but I can’t do that if I have powers because… reasons! I’m glad Cisco is getting a storyline, but I’d rather he not have yet another “woe is me” type story. Had enough of that when Dante died. - Hey, Mick got his book published! - If Silver Ghost stole the meta-wand, why didn’t she just use it herself? - Rule #1 of making a meta-human cure: Never force it on anyone Rule #2 should be: Get better security (or any security, really) at STAR Labs so no one can STEAL the cure and force it on anyone. Just a thought… __________________

- Barry couldn't figure out his phasing problem. Really? They truly dumb him down. It's tragic.
- Nora is comparing a first time offender who is a teenager to the grown ass man who murdered her grandmother? Make it make sense. Is she 16 or 25? - Carlos Valdes delivered Cisco's lines beautifully but what he said didn't ring true to anything Cisco has been facing this season or the last. __________________

This has GOT to be hands down one of the most UNNECESSARY eps in a looong time! This was most definitely filler; this is the WORST Ep.10 of the whole series. Weather Witch & Silver Ghost are two of the most frivolous villains EVER, & unfortunately, since they "got away" we'll be seeing more of them in the future, for yet again ANOTHER filler ep. Seeing those two again will DEFINITELY be too soon. Can't. Stand. Either. One. Of. Them. WASTE. OF. TIME.
Now that I've got that out of my system... This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm really getting sick & tired of Nora. Instead of acting like an adult, she comes across as a 12 year old kid. Seriously, she trusts Thawne now?? That doesn't make any sense. And tbh, I'm REAL tired of her taking away screentime from WA. The only redeeming thing about this ep was Cisco. He just wants to live a normal life...& then KF comes in & destroys his work, b/c she thinks his cure is all about her...what kind of selfish BS? Wish they write her character, WW, & SG into oblivion. They're OTT & USELESS. They could have kept this ep. |

Not unpopular. People are feeling that way and you can include me in that. Can't believe I'm saying it because she's WA's kid but damn. She's stupid. There's no other way to put it. I'm done sugar coating it. Especially after this episode.
She held a grudge against her own mother than the man who stabbed her grandmother in the heart. She paralleled a teenage girl's failed revenge attempt on her father to the man who killed her grandmother and messed up her father's childhood. Make that make sense. __________________

I like Nora more than most but I think we need a break from the character. It's like the show is told from her POV which is nonsense because her father is the titular hero. And don't even get me started on how much screen time she has compared to Iris.
Barry, and to a lesser extent Iris, were written strangely so they could justify Nora's decision to continue working with Thawne. I have been side-eyeing her since the mid-season finale when it was revealed she was in cahoots with him. I expected her to be manipulated, instead she knows damn well he's her father's nemesis and is trusting him. I'm sorry but the show can't tell me Nora grew up worshipping the ground Barry walked on and work with the man he ruined his life at the same time. She didn't even need to know he killed her grandmother. She knew her idol hated him. It should have been enough. __________________
