I really want to see Caitlin's reaction when she finds out that Ronnie's alive. I'd also really like to see these two get a 'second chance' because thinking he died is the reason she's become as cold as she is (even though Ronnie called her 'ice', she really wasn't all that cold or distant prior to the night of the particle explosion, at least according to the flashback we saw), and having a chance to rekindle their relationship would give her character some more dimension and give us as an audience an opportunity to see how she behaves when she's happy and content.

While it is of course way too early to die-hard ship them, there are scenes together in the third episode where really quite sweet and touching. He "died" primarily to save her, and her first real expression of emotion in the show so far was talking about his loss. (I know a lot of people really love the hug between her and Barry at the end of the conversation, but for me, the key thing is the subject of the conversation was her love for Ronnie.)

I have high hopes for the future for these two. I just hope the show is able to live up to the promise of this first episode, with the flashbacks. Although I haven't been largely disappointed in general so far!

Same here. Barry's an empathetic guy, and knew reliving that night required a hug since Caitlin was obviously still "broken" (and he can relate). I'm looking forward to Ronnie coming back all metahuman'ed up (and her reaction

Although we know that there will be certain arcs associated with Ronnie's eventual return that have to do with the Firestorm comics, I'm more intrigued by what, if any, role Caitlin might have in said arcs given her relationship with Ronnie and her expertise as a bioengineer.

I don't think Robbie's character's personality being one half of the superhero Firestorm automatically guarantees him a spot as a series regular in the future, but we'll see. That doesn't mean he's not going to have a fairly large role to play in the future, both in terms of the Firestorm arc as well as in terms of his relationship with Caitlin.

Robbie Amell already spoiled his return in December. He spoiled alot lol.

Even if he hadn't I was calling it the moment they revealed it was Robbie was playing him. That's just my opinion.
