Maybe I'm getting that mixed up with Young Justice? I thought I saw/read something about him recreating the accident. Or maybe it wasn't on purpose and I misunderstood (it's been a while).

No no no. I just recently read that issue, what happened was that Wally was visitin his Aunt Iris and since he was the number one fan of the Flash, She introduced him to Barry who knew that Flash, She than left to work And Barry Took Wally to his lad at home where the "Flash" a;ready was, AKA he just ran very quickly, The Flash was telling Wally how he got his powers while he was visiting Barry lab. When all of a sudden a bolt of lighten struck Wally and he feel into the chemicals, . And therefore he became Kid Flash. And that all took place in the first ew pages of that chapter of the comic, Sicne the comic were in two parts at that time,

I think I'm getting old... For some reason, I meshed Barry recreating his accident in Flashpoint with Wally having the exact same accident in a totally unrelated story (serves me right for binge-reading a bunch of Flash issues in the same day ).
