So, I was married last Saturday! When we first started planning the wedding, the one thing I really insisted on was that I wanted an outdoor wedding in the fall. A year of planning, and the week leading up to the wedding, the weather was PERFECT.
So, of course, a half hour before our ceremony was to start, there was an unexpected deluge that washed out our ceremony. I will say, my now-husband was wonderful (not to mention our guests). Everyone ran into the rain and pulled everything under the tent, and my husband went above and beyond to try to make my day perfect anyway. Our two hours scheduled for photos was reduced to 20 minutes, and we kinda...almost...set the forest on fire at the end of the evening. (TOTALLY AN ACCIDENT, BUT I SWEAR IT WAS AVERTED!) This was just the beginning of the things that went wrong that day, but, you know...at the end of it all, I married the most amazing man in the world, so it was actually a pretty perfect day! So, yeah. Yay for fall! (I know this was apropos of nothing, but...I can't help it! I'm still in post-wedding bliss! Maybe because I'm currently ignoring the stack of thank you cards I'm supposed to be filling out right now...) |

Congratulations Jade! I'm glad your wedding was perfect and the weather didn't make trouble for you
It's nice to hear someone's getting married, my sister went to her first wedding last Saturday and I'm not lying about these times I don't see so many people getting married . Hope you enjoyed it so much and if you're going to go on honeymoon, have a great time and enjoy it with you husband Midterms killed me for a long time. I don't want final exams to come, but they're coming soon . Good luck with your midterms Wingster!__________________
