- Fake!Iris can cook! Surely Barry has to realize something is wrong…
- See, Barry. THIS is why you don’t tell bad guys your secret identity! - “Onesie” - Barry yelling “Banana” repeatedly was hilarious - Last episode, Barry lost control of the speedforce for a moment. This week, he’s getting tired. Did Crisis mess up the speedforce? - Iris: I didn’t forget my files last night. I was following a lead Me: But… you wrote him a note saying you were following a lead? Where did this “forgot my files” thing come from? - **sings along** LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD!! (Okay, I love this song) - Did Nash just see Harry? Or Eobard-Wells? - Soooo… is Iris really stuck in the mirror, or is it just PART of Iris that is stuck in the mirror (eg: her inhibitions, her fears, etc) and she has to merge with the other Iris eventually? __________________

This was a REALLY good ep! It was like a psycho thriller w/a bit of humor thrown in. I can honestly say that this was better than last week's ep.
From what I gathered, I think that this may be a "weird" doppelganger of Iris', or this is a part of her that's always remained hidden. She knew parts of RealIris that no one else should've known. Also, it was interesting that she basically gaslighted Barry into believing he was the one at fault, when he ever so slightly felt that something was off w/her. This chick is creepy! Also, what is her endgame? Is she there to thwart any attempts at further exposing Black Hole? Is she trying to take over Iris' life? Or that orchid that was found is part of the plan? Seems she had Barry light it up to get his innermost thoughts, so he would NEVER suspect her of being a fake! Like I said: this chick is creepy! But I give Candice huge props for her acting. THIS is how you play a dual role of the same character. Also, was Joe giving out hints about the "branches 'mirroring' the foundation"? It feels good to speculate about the show again. Haven't done than since S3. Didn't know that Amunet & Goldface dated. Their scenes together (minus the end ) were hilarious. I hope we see more of him in the future, but I've had my fill of her. The only dull & unnecessary storyline was once again Frost & Allegra. Does anybody REALLY care about her "lost love"? Also, why was Nash hallucinating Harry? Now that may be mildly interesting. |

One of my issues from 6A is that we never got to see Iris's point of view about what was happening with Crisis. Barry never even had a one-on-one talk with her about it. He just expected her to accept it and that's it. She did what she had to do, starting Team Citizen and whatnot. I'm thinking this is still a part of Iris we're seeing, but a bolder version. She's less inhibited, and isn't hiding all her feelings inside. The part that's in the mirror might be the "meeker" part of her (for lack of a better term). The part that lacks confidence, or feels she has to put everyone else first despite how SHE feels about things. I just would hate to think this bad-ass confident Iris we saw is a fake Iris, because I thought she was great. SHE is who I want to see Proper!Iris become on this show. __________________
